Who does Daryl Dixon fall in love with?
Showrunner Angela Kang and the rest of the AMC drama's creative team at last delivered an episode giving Norman Reedus' perma-loner Daryl Dixon a 100% official love interest, Leah, as portrayed by True Blood and Bosch vet Lynn Collins.
Many fans have paired of Daryl and Carol for years as a potential couple, and the two are even getting a spin-off together after The Walking Dead ends. But the show has never let that happen, and kept a brother-sister type relationship between them, for the most part.
While many other characters have either hooked up with someone else or at least shown a romantic interest in another person, Daryl has firmly placed himself in the friend zone and remained single the entire time.
They're never seen kissing or becoming intimate on-screen, but it's heavily implied that the two sleep together.
"Still" was written by producer Angela Kang and directed by series editor Julius Ramsay, marking his directorial debut. This episode focuses entirely on the characters of Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Beth Greene (Emily Kinney).
Sunday's episode, "Find Me," introduces a new character, Leah (Lynn Collins), who, after 17 months, starts a relationship of sorts with Daryl before mysteriously disappearing.
Yes, Daryl and Leah got together over a period of years, in-story. But for viewers, this was a single episode, and it was supposed to answer a question building up for the better part of decade.

In “Find Me,” Daryl searches for Rick Grimes' body for closure about his death but instead stumbles across a cabin in the woods where he meets Leah. Over the course of the episode, Daryl spends more and more time with her, and they begin to form a relationship.
